BRITNEY Spears' family dramas have taken a fresh twist, with reports that Casey Aldridge is not the father of teenage mum-to-be Jamie Lynn's baby, but has been paid to protect the real man's identity.
It has been alleged the 16-year-old actress - who announced she is expecting her first child with long-term boyfriend Aldridge earlier this month - was having an affair with an older man on the set of her Nickelodeon TV show Zoey 101.

The Spears family are allegedly desperate to keep the man's identity a secret, and have paid Aldridge to pretend to be the father instead.

A source told America's Star magazine: "Casey is being paid off to be the family's fall guy while the real father remains unidentified.

"The man many suspect is the father, however, would face rape charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with Jamie Lynn."

A family insider added: "Some of us have doubts as to the legitimacy of the claim that Casey is the father. Before the news of the pregnancy, how often did you see them together?

"Jamie Lynn has dated Casey on-and-off over the past two years. But it was not steady. Jamie Lynn went through a time of partying, and Casey was just a part of that."

While Jamie Lynn - the sister of troubled pop star Britney Spears - has admitted being "shocked and scared" about becoming a mother at such a young age, she hasn't commented on rumours Nickelodeon will be dropping her from Zoey 101.

PR expert Michael Levine said: "I cant think of any way that Nickelodeon could keep Jamie Lynn's show on the air.

"If they do, advertisers will drop it like crazy. No advertiser wants to be associated with a minor getting pregnant."

At the time of the pregnancy announcement, Nickelodeon released a statement saying: "We respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation.

"We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."

Spears’ Debütalbum ...Baby One More Time erschien 1999 und erreichte auf Anhieb Platz 1 in den US-Billboard Charts, was vor Spears noch keiner Künstlerin gelungen war, genauso erreichte es u.a. in den United World Charts, Deutschland, Österreich, der Schweiz, Australien, Kanada sowie Mexiko Platz 1 der jeweiligen Album-Charts und verkaufte sich bislang weltweit über 28 Mio. Mal; die gleichnamige Single war ein Nummer-1-Hit in über vierzig Ländern, auch in Deutschland. Die nachfolgenden Auskopplungen, Sometimes, (You Drive Me) Crazy (The Stop! Remix) und in Europa Born To Make You Happy, waren ebenfalls kommerziell sehr erfolgreich.

2000-2002: Aufbau der internationalen Karriere

Das nächstes Album, Oops!... I Did It Again (2000), war ein ähnlich großer Erfolg (24 Mio. verkaufte Einheiten). Die Singleauskopplungen des zweiten Albums erreichten wieder hohe Chartsplatzierungen, mit der zweiten Single, Lucky, landete Spears in Deutschland ihren zweiten Nummer-1-Hit.

Ihr drittes Album Britney (2001) erreichte zwar ebenfalls Platz 1 in den Billboard Charts und zahlreichen anderen Ländern (u. a. Deutschland), wurde jedoch nicht mehr so häufig verkauft wie seine Vorgänger. Im Gegensatz zu seinen Vorgängern arbeitete Spears an Britney mit unterschiedlicheren Produzenten zusammen. Neben der Sängerin und Songwriterin Dido und dem schwedischen Produzenten und Komponisten Max Martin schrieb und produzierte das Hip-Hop-Duo The Neptunes, bestehend aus Chad Hugo und Pharrell Williams, zwei der Lieder des Albums, I´m A Slave 4 U und Boys. Zum ersten Mal wagte sich Spears somit an einem neuen Sound, so dass auf ihrem dritten Studioalbum neben Pop auch Rock, R&B sowie Hip-Hop-Elemente zu hören waren.

Ihr Film Crossroads spielte weltweit etwa 60 Mio. Dollar ein. Sowohl der Film als auch sein Drehbuch wurden für die Goldene Himbeere nominiert. Spears wurde mit ihrem Filmpartner Anson Mount als schlechtestes Leinwandpaar sowie als schlechteste Schauspielerin des Jahres nominiert und gewann die Himbeere als schlechteste Schauspielerin.

Nach dem dritten Album beendete Spears ihre Zusammenarbeit mit dem schwedischen Komponisten und Produzenten Max Martin, der bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Hits (Baby One More Time, (You Drive Me) Crazy, Lucky, Oops …, Stronger) geschrieben hatte, und wandte sich anderen Partnern zu.

2003-2004: Imagewechsel und neuer Sound

Im Frühjahr 2003 erregte eine Meldung Aufsehen, wonach Spears im Rahmen einer Valentinstagsparty sämtliche Mitglieder ihrer Crew dazu brachte, sich - ihrem Beispiel folgend - ein Brustwarzenpiercing stechen zu lassen. Während der MTV Video Music Awards im August 2003 kam es während der Eröffnungsperformance mit Madonna und Christina Aguilera zu jeweils einem Kuss der Jüngeren mit der „Queen of Pop“. In den Medien sorgte jedoch nur der Kuss mit Britney Spears für Sensationsmeldungen.[1]

Im November 2003 erschien nach einer kreativen Pause Spears’ viertes Album In the Zone , das sie als Künstlerin reifen ließ und ihr allmählich auch Anerkennung der Kritiker zuteil werden ließ. Stilistisch unterscheidet sich das Album stark von seinen Vorgängern, da die Musikrichtung Pop nicht mehr dominiert. Vielmehr ist es eine Mischung von vielen Stilen, wie R&B, Hip-Hop sowie Dance-Pop.

Als erste Single aus In The Zone wurde Me Against The Music, eine Zusammenarbeit mit Madonna, ausgekoppelt. Besonders in Australien und Großbritannien entwickelte sich das Lied zu einem Erfolg und kam auf Platz Eins der Hitparade, erreichte aber auch in vielen anderen Ländern hohe Chartspositionen.

Die erfolgreichste Single aus dem vierten Album wurde Toxic (zweite Auskopplung) . Das Lied markiert nach … Baby One More Time Spears bislang größten Hit, u. a. erreichte der Song in vierzehn Ländern den ersten Platz und Spears bekam durch das Lied auch ihren ersten Grammy in der Kategorie Best Dance Recording. Auch die nächste Single Everytime, eine von Spears geschriebene Ballade, wurde kommerziell erfolgreich.

Das von R. Kelly geschriebene und produzierte Lied Outrageous sollte international als vierte und letzte Single aus In the Zone veröffentlicht werden. Bei den Dreharbeiten zum Video des Liedes verletzte sich Spears am Knie und musste operiert werden. Daher ist das Video nie fertig geworden und Pläne der Veröffentlichung von Outrageous wurden verworfen. Lediglich in den USA erschien die Single, durch fehlende Promotion konnte sich der Titel in den Hitparaden jedoch nicht wirklich durchsetzen und erreichte lediglich Platz 79.

Am 3. Januar 2004 heiratete Spears ihren langjährigen Freund Jason Allen Alexander in Las Vegas (USA). Die Ehe wurde jedoch innerhalb von 58 Stunden annulliert. Dieser „Rekord“ wurde ins Guinness-Buch der Rekorde eingetragen.

Am 18. September 2004 heiratete Spears den vier Jahre älteren Kevin Federline in Los Angeles. Der frühere Background-Tänzer von Spears, der auch schon für Justin Timberlake gearbeitet hatte, hat bereits zwei Kinder mit der Schauspielerin Shar Jackson. Zwei Jahre darauf, am 7. November 2006, beantragte Britney die Scheidung; als Grund gab sie „unüberbrückbare Differenzen“ an.

Im November 2004 erschien Spears’ bislang erstes Greatest-Hits-Album mit dem Titel Greatest Hits: My Prerogative. 2005-2007: Privates Glück, Eskapaden und Skandale

Am 14. September 2005 wurde Spears’ und Federlines erster Sohn, Sean Preston Spears Federline, in Santa Monica geboren. Ein halbes Jahr nach der Geburt wurde eine Skulptur mit dem Titel Monument to Pro-Life: The Birth of Sean Preston des Bildhauers Daniel Edwards im New Yorker Museum MoMa/P.S.1 ausgestellt. Sie zeigt die hochschwangere Spears, nackt auf einem Bärenfell kniend. Die Statue sorgte für Kontroversen, insbesondere zwischen Abtreibungsgegnern und -befürwortern.[2]

Im November 2005 erschien ohne jegliche Promotion B In The Mix: The Remixes. Für das Remix Album wurden alte Hits von Spears von diversen DJs und Produzenten neu abgemischt.

Am 12. September 2006 kam Spears' zweiter Sohn, Jayden James Spears Federline, in Los Angeles zur Welt.

Im Dezember 2006 sorgte Spears für Schlagzeilen, als sie sich wiederholt im angetrunkenen Zustand und ohne Unterwäsche in der Öffentlichkeit zeigte. Dabei präsentierte sie ihren Genitalbereich beim Aussteigen aus Autos und bot umstehenden Paparazzi zahlreiche Gelegenheit, diesen abzulichten.[3] Für weitere Schlagzeilen sorgte sie, als sie sich in einem Friseursalon in Los Angeles ihren Kopf kahl rasieren und sich kurz darauf in einem Tatoo-Laden am Nacken und am rechten Unterarm Tätowierungen anbringen ließ.[4] Es kamen Spekulationen auf ob sie diesen Schritt tat um eventuelle Drogentests zu verhindern. Im Februar 2007 begab sich Britney Spears in das auf Suchttherapien spezialisierte Rehabilitationszentrum Promises in Malibu (Kalifornien), das sie jedoch nach Auskunft der US-Fernsehshow «Extra» und der Webseite TMZ.com bereits nach einem Tag wieder verließ.[7] Am darauffolgenden Donnerstag begab sich Spears erneut in die Entzugsklinik und sagte eine ursprünglich für Donnerstag geplante Anhörung im Sorgerechtsstreit zwischen Spears und ihrem Noch-Ehemann Kevin Federline ab. Laut TMZ gab Spears Ex-Ehemann ihr nun eine letzte Chance. Sollte sie die Therapie erneut vorzeitig beenden, drohte Federline, sofort vor Gericht um das alleinige Sorgerecht für die gemeinsamen Söhne zu kämpfen.

Am 1. Oktober 2007 verlor Britney Spears schließlich das alleinige Sorgerecht für die gemeinsamen Kinder an Kevin Federline.[8] Am 3. Oktober 2007 gestand das Gericht ihr das Besuchsrecht unter Aufsicht zu;[9] diese Entscheidung wurde am 30. Oktober 2007 bestätigt.[10]

2007: Musikalische Rückkehr

Spears verließ nach ca. vierzig Tagen das Rehabilitationszentrum und fing wieder an, sich für ihr musikalisches Comeback vorzubereiten. Neben intensiven Tanztraining, um körperlich wieder in Form zu kommen, arbeitete sie nach eigenen Angaben weiterhin hart an ihrem fünften Studioalbum. Dabei bestätigten mehrere Produzenten die Zusammenarbeit mit Spears, wie zum Beispiel Ne-Yo, Sean Garrett, Pharrell Williams, der Rapper T-Pain und das Produzentenduo Bloodshy & Avant, die für Spears kommerziell erfolgreichen Song Toxic verantwortlich sind. Außerdem befand sich die Sängerin auf einer "Mini-Club-Tour" durch die USA; u.a. trat sie in Las Vegas und Los Angeles auf und performte jeweils fünf Songs.

Auf ihrer offiziellen Webpräsenz ließ Spears die Mitglieder des Fanclubs entscheiden, welchen Titel das im Oktober erschienene fünfte Studioalbum tragen solle; u.a. standen Titel wie What if the Joke is On You, Integrity, Down Boy sowie Dignity zur Auswahl. Im Semptember behaupten mehrere Quellen, Spears neues Album solle den Titel Piece Of Me, nach einer gleichnamigen Single benannt, tragen. Trotz der Auswahl für die Mitglieder des Fanclubs entschieden sich Spears und ihre Plattenfirma für den Titel Blackout. Ein Sprecher der Plattenfirma erklärte die Bedeutung des Titels: Negative Gefühle und Erinnerungen sollen "ausgeschaltet" werden, lediglich auf die Musik solle man sich konzentrieren. Zudem gibt es eine Single zur Abrechnung mit ihrem Ex-Mann Kevin Federline, Why Should I Be Sad. [11]

Die erste Single aus Spears' fünften Album trägt den Titel Gimme More (Veröffentlichung: 26. Oktober). Produziert wurde der Song von Nate „Danja“ Hills, der als Timbalands rechte Hand gemeinsam u.a. Songs für Justin Timberlake (u.a. SexyBack, What Goes Around...) und Nelly Furtado (u.a. Promiscuous) produziert hat. Der Song ist im R&B- / Dance-Pop-Bereich einzuordnen. Gimme More war bei der Radioveröffentlichung so gefragt, dass er in die US Airplay Charts innerhalb von 12 Stunden auf Platz 80 einstieg. So früh schaffte es bisher noch kein Song in der Geschichte in die Radio-Charts. Nach 48 Stunden stand er sogar schon auf Platz 40. Die Tendenz war weiterhin ansteigend, bis Gimme More Platz 17 erreichte.[12] Innerhalb von 5 Tagen hatten schon über 1.200.000 Menschen eine der inoffiziellen Versionen des Songs bei Youtube gehört. Es war damit das meist gesehene Video dieser Woche. [13] Am 09. September performte Spears bei den MTV Video Music Awards 2007, sie stellte dem Publikum dort Gimme More vor und wollte mit ihrer Darbietung ihr Comeback beginnen. Jedoch äußerte die Mehrheit der Kritiker Enttäuschung über ihr Erscheinungsbild und ihre Performance. Gut eine Woche später stand Spears aufgrund des Sorgerechtstreits um ihre beiden Söhne vor Gericht, wobei ihr Ex-Bodyguard gegen sie aussagen sollte, das Gericht und Spears Anwältin jedoch diesen als unglaubwürdig bezeichneten und ihn nicht mal in den Zeugenstand rief. Trotzdem musste sich Spears aufgrund der Aussage des Ex-Bodyguards weiteren Alkohol- und Substanztests unterziehen, welche alle negativ ausfielen.[14] Diese Tatsache wurden in der Presse jedoch oft falsch dargestellt, was zu Protesten von Seiten der Fans führte.

Spears' Single Gimme More stieg nur dank Airplay auf #68 der amerikanischen Single-Charts ein. Am 2. Oktober wurde die Single in Nordamerika zum Download veröffentlicht und stieg noch am selben Tag bei iTunes auf #1 ein. Durch diese hohe Chartplatzierung stieg Gimme More in den Billboard Hot 100 von #68 auf #3.[15] Somit ist die Single in den USA nach ...Baby One More Time die kommerziell erfolgreichste Single, die Spears je veröffentlicht hat. Außerdem stieg die Single auf #1 der Kanada Hot 100 ein. Nach nur vier Wochen erreichte die Single in den USA nun auch Gold-Status.[16]

Am 26. Oktober 2007 erschien in Europa Spears fünftes Studioalbum Blackout, die weltweite Veröffentlichung ist für den 30. Oktober angesetzt. Das Zwölf-Tracks-Starke Album erhielt bislang durchweg sehr positive Kritiken; so bezeichnet die International Herald Tribune, eine internationale, englischsprachige Tageszeitung, Blackout als das beste Album ihrer Karriere.[17]

Nachdem in den USA eine kurzfristige Charts-Reform vorgenommen wurde, konnte Britney Spears in den USA mit ihrem neuesten Album Blackout nicht mehr die Nummer 1 erreichen. Mit knapp 290.000 verkauften Exemplaren in der ersten Woche wäre sie eigentlich auf Platz 1 gelandet, aber das neue Album der Eagles (mehr als 350.000 verkaufte Exemplare in der gleichen Woche, da es sich um eine Doppel-CD handelt, als 700.000 Exemplare gewertet) wurde doch in die Chartsermittlung miteinbezogen, da eigentlich durch den reinen Verkauf bei der Supermarktkette Wal Mart eine CD bisher nicht für die Charts geltend war. [18]

Piece Of Me wurde offiziell als 2. Singleauskopplung aus Blackout bekannt gegeben, die Radioveröffentlichung war am 27. November 2007, ein dazugehöriges Musikvideo wurde mit einem Budget von $ 500.000 am 27. und 28. November 2007 gedreht.[19] Es ist somit nach Toxic ($ 1.000.000) das teuerste Musikvideo in Spears' Karriere.[20][21] In Deutschland erscheint die Single am 11. Januar 2008.[22]

Erfolge

Ihren großen Erfolge erreichte sie verhältnismäßig jung. Beispiele sind:

* Sie hat mit 17 Jahren, als jüngste Sängerin in den USA, gleichzeitig Platz eins der Album- und Single-Charts belegt.
* Keinem weiblichen Interpreten außer Spears gelang es, mit vier Studioalben hintereinander auf Platz 1 und mit fünf Studioalben in den Top 2 der amerikanischen Billboard Hot 200 einzusteigen.[23]
* Bis heute (2007) ist „… Baby One More Time“ das meistverkaufte Debütalbum einer Künstlerin, das je in den USA erschien.[24]
* Ihr zweites Album „Oops! … I did it again“ hat sich in der ersten Woche allein in den USA 1,3 Millionen Mal verkauft und weltweit in der ersten Woche 3,8 Millionen Mal. Dies schaffte vorher und bis Dato kein anderer Künstler.[25]
* Im Zeitraum von 1999 bis 2006 hat kein Interpret mehr Platten verkauft als Britney Spears.

Britney Jean Spears (d. 2 Aralık 1981, Louisiana ABD), Grammy Ödülü kazanmış Amerikalı pop müzik şarkıcısı, dansçı, söz yazarı ve sinema oyuncusudur. Dünya çapında 70 milyondan fazla albüm kopyası satmıştır. Amerikan müzik tarihinde en çok satan 8. kadın şarkıcıdır.

İlk önce 1990'ların başlarında "The Mickey Mouse Club" ile tanındı. 5 yıllık bir aradan sonra hit albümü "...Baby One More Time" ile geri döndü ve pop müzikte bir süre çok genç şarkıcıların hakim olacağı bir dönem başlattı. Ertesi yıl ikinci albümü "Oops!...I Did It Again" ile yine listelerin ilk sırasına oturdu.

2000'li yıllar Spears için iyi başladı. Öncelikle Pepsi ile yaptığı reklam anlaşmasıyla, sonra da o dönemki erkek arkadaşı Justin Timberlake ile sürekli gündemdeydi.Bu dönemde arka arkaya 3. ve 4. albümlerini çıkardı. Bu albümleri öncekileri göre içerik olarak daha sanatsal, ancak satış olarak daha düşüktü. 2004'te dansçı Kevin Federline ile evlendi. 1 yıl içinde ilk oğlu Sean Preston'ı, 12 Eylül 2006'da da ikinci oğlu Jayden James'i dünyaya getirdi.2007'de Kevin Federline'den boşanmıştır. Son zamanlarda sürekli skandallarla adından söz ettirmiştir.Bir zamanlar Paris Hilton ve Lindsay Lohan'ın yakın arkadaşı olmuştur. Aslında Kevin'ın kokain kullandığnı ve kendisine atılan kokain kullanıyor suçlamalarının asılsız olduğunu kanıtlamak için kendisinden kokain testi yapılmasını istemiştir ve saçlarını kazıtmıştır.Bir rehabilitasyon merkezine yatmış ve çıkmıştır.Son olarak eşinin çocukların velayetini almak isteği üzerine Londra'ya taşınma kararından vazgeçip,Malibu'ya taşınmıştır.Britney hayranları bunun çok iyi bir karar olduğnu,onu uzun süre Hollywood'un çılgın gecelrinden uzaklaştırcağnı düşünmektedirler.

Spears, Kentwood, Louisiana'da doğdu. Erkek kardeşi Brayn Spears,(d.1977) menajerlerinden biridir, kız kardeşi Jamie-Lynn(d.1991) ise aktris ve şarkıcıdır. Çocukluk yıllarında Britney,okulunun jimnastik derslerine katıldı,kilise korosunda da söylüyordu.Bu sırada Disney kanalının seçmelerine de katılıyordu.Bu seçmelerden birinde The Mickey Mouse Club'a seçildi.Yaşı çok küçük olduğu için yapımcılardan biri onun New York 'Broadway 'de bir ajans ile tanıştırarak 3 yıl boyunca gösteri sanatları okuluna gitmesini sağladı. Daha sonra Spears Disney kanalına New Mickey Mouse Clubile geri döndü. Progmramdaki diğer ismler, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Joshua Chasez, aktris Keri Russell, ve aktör Ryan Gosling idi.Birkaç yıl sonra Spears bir demo hazırladı ve bu Jive Record'un eline geçti. Plak şirketi Britney Spears ile anlaşma imzaladı ve Britney tüm gençlik dergilerinde ve televizyon programlarında görünmeye başladı.Nsync gurubununda reklamlarına ve sesini göstermeye devam etti.
